Ukraine’s State Statistics Committee reports that there were 6.09 million head of cattle on farms in Ukraine on June 1 this year, 10.7% fewer than on the same date in 2007. In terms of region, most cattle, 416,400, were in the Vinnytsya oblast (region) on June 1 this year.
