Malta’s National Statistics Office reports that Malta’s leather and leather products industry recorded total sales worth E5.01 million in 2007, compared with E6.62 million in 2006 and E12.6 million in 2005. A total of 179 people were employed in the industry in 2007, compared with 167 in 2006 and 277 in 2005.
